珥本設計 | URBANE DESIGN 是一間位於台中的室內設計公司，自 2004 年創立，由陳建佑 (Steven Chen) 主導設計實踐多年來，珥本專注於高端住宅、豪宅、私人住宅、房地產項目與辦公空間，並延伸至建築、室內建築、材料、家具軟裝與施工整合。從設計概念、空間比例，到材料選擇、細部深化與現場建造，我們將設計視為一個完整而連續的過程。我們相信，真正具有長久價值的空間，不在於形式的堆疊，而在於比例、光線、材質與細節之間所形成的秩序。陳建佑所建立的設計方法，重視空間與生活的關係，也重視設計從概念到實際建造的完整性。中性色調、自然材質與精準比例，是珥本設計經常使用的語彙；但比風格更重要的，是材料、工藝、尺度與細節的持續理解與控制 。                                                                                                                                                                                     珥  由玉與耳組成玉象徵自然與材質的本質，耳則代表感知與細節。對珥本而言，設計不只是觀看，更是一種對材料、尺度、光線與生活的感知。真正的高級，不是昂貴，而是對細節的理解、對材料的尊重，以及對專屬性的精準掌握。因此，珥本設計不以追逐風格為目的，而是透過比例、材質、光影與工藝，建立安靜、精準且具有時間感的空間。設計，如生活的弦音。經由比例與細節的反覆打磨，讓空間在時間之中逐漸呈現自己的性格。

陳建佑 | Steven Chen | Studio Director · URBANE DESIGN陳建佑（Steven Chen）為珥本設計 Studio Director，主導室內建築與設計施工整合，長期專注於住宅、辦公與高端生活空間的設計實踐。他的設計關注比例、材料、光線與工藝之間的關係，並將設計概念延伸至實際建造，使空間從概念、細節到施工落地，維持一致而精準的設計語言。
URBANE DESIGNURBANE DESIGN is a Taiwan-based design practice founded in 2004 and led by Steven Chen, with its studio in Taichung. For more than two decades, URBANE has focused on high-end residential environments, luxury homes, private residences, real estate developments, and workspaces. Its practice extends across architecture, interior architecture, materials, furniture, soft furnishings, and integrated design and construction. From the initial design concept and spatial proportions to material selection, design detailing, and on-site execution, we approach design as one continuous process. We believe that spaces with lasting value are not created through an accumulation of forms, but through the sense of order established between proportion, light, material, and detail. The design approach developed by Steven Chen places particular emphasis on the relationship between space and everyday life, as well as the continuity between design intent and its physical realization. Neutral tones, natural materials, and precise proportions are recurring elements within the URBANE vocabulary; yet beyond style lies a deeper commitment to the continued understanding and control of materials, craftsmanship, scale, and detail. The Chinese name “珥”  is rooted in the character “珥”, composed of the elements for jade and ear. Jade represents the essence of nature and materiality, while the ear represents perception and sensitivity to detail. For URBANE, design is not simply about what is seen. It is also about the perception of materials, scale, light, and everyday life. True luxury is not defined by expense. It lies in an understanding of detail, a respect for materials, and the precision required to create something distinctly personal. For this reason, URBANE DESIGN does not pursue style for its own sake. Instead, through proportion, material, light, and craftsmanship, we seek to create spaces that are quiet, precise, and enduring. Design is like the resonance of a string in music. Refined through the repeated consideration of proportion and detail, a space gradually reveals its own character over time.

Steven ChenSteven Chen is the Studio Director of URBANE DESIGN, leading the practice in interior architecture and the integration of design and construction. His work focuses on residential, workplace, and refined living environments. His design approach explores the relationship between proportion, material, light, and craftsmanship, extending design intent through to physical realization. From concept and detailing to on-site execution, he seeks to maintain a consistent and precise design language throughout the entire process.
